Claire has a passion for discovering what lies at the intersection of food and community. She has worked in kitchens since the age of 14 and strives to find innovative ways to use food as fuel for community engagement and healthy, active living.

Claire has a B.A. in French and a B.S. in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and recently completed an M.S. in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston. Prior to her graduate program, Claire taught English at a culinary arts high school in Strasbourg, France and worked as a Dietetic Technician at UW Hospital coordinating patient meal plans and teaching nutrition. She is excited to bring these experiences in nutrition programming and relationship development to her work serving the diverse communities of Dane County.
